Copywriter / コピーライター

Tokyo-based Creative Agency with offices throughout Asia seeks qualified English-language copywriter for immediate employment. Most English-language jobs are for leading Japanese companies targeting overseas markets,though we also do some Japanese-language advertising for foreign and domestic companies. While direct industry experience is not prerequisite, excellent writing skills and creativity are essential. Remuneration based on age, skill and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Writing and editing English copy for advertising, collateral and sales promotion materials and related marketing communications activities. Some rewriting of translations and copywriting based on Japanese text also required. Working with a team of other creatives and producers, we deal directly with clients or lead agencies. Participation in meetings in Japanese is necessary.

Experience & Skills:
University degree
Native English speaker
Fluency in Japanese, speaking reading and writing
