Zoo Phonics Academy Kobe is currently looking for a full time English Teacher available from January 2013.

Requirements:
•Female native English speaker
•Basic Japanese
•At least three years childhood education experience
•Currently resides in Japan

Description:
You will be teaching primarily the oldest kindergarten class (aged 4-6). The typical day includes a musical circle time, zoo phonics (reading a writing), theme-based activities, and snack/lunch time. You will also teach after school classes that use an English textbook.
A successful candidate will be energetic, creative, artistic, a team player, and love children.

Condition:
•The position starts January 14th, 2013.
•The first two weeks are a training period to demonstrate the Zoo Phonics curriculum.
•The salary is 200,000 yen per month plus the cost of transportation.
•This position has a two month trial period, after which, if both parties are satisfied, the salary will be increased to 230,000 yen.
•The contract period is a renewable one-year contract.
•A working visa is preferred, though visa sponsorship is available.
•Working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00-18:00 including lunch with the children, prep time, and a one hour break—depending on the schedule.
•There are several weeks of paid holiday each year, including 2 weeks in summer, 2 weeks in winter, and 1 week for golden week.
