Consultant for Professional Services (Security) : CareerCross - 2015

Consultants within F5’s Professional Service team all have unique technical strengths and knowledge.We welcome individuals who are inexperienced with F5 tech, but highly adept in a certain technical field and are looking to catch-up.

Some technical fields we welcome are below:

• Prior experience with F5 products; iRule and iControl development


• Experience creating top quality ‘Statement of Work’ for consultant delivery


• Working knowledge and proficiency in ‘Security’ technologies


• Working knowledge in TCP/IP, general networking (DNS, SMTP, HTTP, switches, routers, firewalls) within enterprise environments


• Experience with application level switching and web technologies such as web application firewalls and caching/compression


• Experience with WAN optimization technologies


• Experience with IPSec and/or SSL VPN technologies

The following are large pluses:

• Packet Sniffing Tech: ZebOS, BIND, SSH daemons/clients, tcpdump, snoop, ethereal


• Web and Application Platforms: IIS, Apache, Websphere, WebLogic, Oracle


• Object Oriented Development and Scripting: Java, C, .Net, Unix shell, Perl


• File virtualization- Storage: EMC Celera, NetApp, Blue Arc, or other NAS platforms

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience

Language requirements:

• Japanese: Fluent to native level is required


• English: Basic level is acceptable; Business level and above are a plus
