Company Description:

Real Estate Firm with growing portfolio in the Japan Market

Overview:

• Support all branding and marketing initiatives for Japanese portfolio.
• Oversee the development and implementation of property and corporate initiatives, including strategic marketing plans, branding, communications, collateral materials, advertising and public relations campaigns.
• Work closely with Asset Management team to support leasing, tenant relations and property environmental branding efforts.
• Works closely with Development team to support branding, positioning, launch, leasing strategy and generation of promotional materials for new developments.
• Maintain brand integrity across Japanese and Asian marketing efforts and the consistent promotion and communication of the property brands.

Responsibilities:

Brand/Communications
• Working with the Executive Team and other regional Marketing Associates, ensure the consistent promotion and communication of brand internally and externally.
• Working with other regional Marketing Associates, develop and localize Japan’s corporate tools/templates, as needed, and update collateral materials, including website, brochures, stationery, business cards and staff photography.
• Support all public relations initiatives, including press releases, media inquiries, events and media relations training for staff, as well as involvement in the real estate industry and local communities, including sponsorships and event attendance.
• Support preparation of investor communications and internal corporate communications and presentations, as needed.
• Develop annual office marketing budget and manage the expenditure of marketing costs.
• Coordinate with other regional Marketing Associates to ensure consistent and strategic application of the brand worldwide and leverage best practices.
• Various admin tasks, including organization and management of soft and hard copy files; processing invoices for marketing-related expenses and upkeep of marketing-related supplies.

Property and Project Marketing
• Work with the Japan Asset Management team to develop and implement a strategic marketing plan for each property, based on vision for each asset.
• Work with the Japan Development team to develop branding, positioning, launch, leasing strategy and promotional materials for new developments.
• Develop property marketing budgets and manage the expenditure of marketing costs, including tracking costs, measuring results and making budget adjustments based on changes in asset strategy and scope.
• Establish appropriate benchmarks and measure success (KPIs) of marketing initiatives.
• Ensure broker team and property management are asset and brand ambassadors.
• Coordinate with other regional Marketing Associates to leverage internal resources and best practices from other properties.

Leasing
• Support all leasing efforts, including liaising with the broker team, monitoring and tracking leasing activity, overseeing the creation and maintenance of leasing materials and processes, public relations campaigns, advertising and events.

Tenant Relations
• Work with the Asset Management team to develop and implement a strategic tenant relations/retention plan.
• Work with the Asset and Property Management teams to oversee and support tenant relations, including communications, events and new tenant needs.

Renovations & Capital Projects
• Support environmental branding/capital improvement projects to ensure the asset experience reflects the property and brands, including signage, wayfinding, renovations, etc.

Consultants
• Source and select marketing communications and design consultants, as needed. Work with Asset Management and/or Development Team to select other consultants, as needed.
• Manage consultant projects and relationships.
• Establish and maintain clear channels of communication between all parties involved, including the Asset Management and Executive teams, brokers, property management and outside consultants.
• Art direct photo shoots of the assets in accordance with brand standards and budget allocation.

The above responsibilities include writing, editing, design and/or project management of the following:
• Collateral material including websites, brochures, email campaigns, direct mail, stationery, etc.
• Online and print advertisements
• Press releases
• Tenant, broker and corporate events, including event management and promotional materials
• Presentations
• Tenant communications
