As a key contributor
within the team responsible for this effort, the Analyst, eCommerce Inventory Planning will play a critical part in enabling expansion of our online business to customers.
By leveraging the expertise within our existing ecommerce teams, the Analyst, eCommerce Inventory Planning will work along with the Manager, eCommerce Merchandising & Catalog management to develop and document Inventory
Planning Management processes to be executed by Toys”R”Us JP eCommerce operating organizations. In this role, the Analyst will partner closely with the existing ecommerce Operations teams, Merchandising teams and Supply chain teams, to develop and document standard back-end processes, and also continuous improvement of back-end processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Position Responsibilities:
Develop the Toys”R”Us ecommerce back-end operating model for Inventory PlanningWork with team members in existing Toys”R”Us ecommerce teams, Merchandising teams and Supply chain teams to build, maintain and support the eCommerce Back-End Operating ModelSharing data and other communication related to eCommerce Inventory PlanningAuthor and maintain SOPs and business process management tools across Inventory PlanningAs identified, document any back-end operational processes that can be efficiently managed and support ongoing execution as necessarySupport the implementation of the back-end operating modelFocus on driving continuous improvementSupport continuous improvement of ecommerce back-end operations by monitoring and facilitating aggregated operational reporting and Key Performance IndicatorsReporting Relationships:

Position Qualifications:
At least 1 – 2 years experience in inventory management for retailingPrevious experience with ecommerce organizations in inventory management role preferredKnowledge of back-end ecommerce operations management processes highly desirableShould be highly collaborative and comfortable with both high-level planning and tactical executionMust be comfortable working across operations and processes owned by internal and external partners;relationship builder capable of influencing and collaborating in a partner intensive environmentNegotiation skill based on analysis is necessaryUniversity / Bachelor’s DegreeNative Japanese level, can read business documents and e-mails in English preferred??????
