English Teacher (Tokyo)

Japanese language skills are not required, but you must be a native speaker of English, hold a valid working visa and have a genuine interest in working with children.

This is a stand-by position. If selected you would be required to wait on stand-by on Saturdays until 12:00PM. If you receive no call to substitute by 12:00PM you would then receive 5000 yen and be freed from any requirements for the rest of the day.

If asked to substitute, however, you would then receive 4000 yen per class you teach that day (a maximum of 7 classes) on top of the 5000 yen.

We offer full training and support with outstanding working conditions and pay far above the industry standard.

Areas you would be required to substitute in: Tokyo and its surrounding (Saitama, Yokohama and Chiba). You could start training immediately after passing the interview process
