Responsibilities:

- Handle implementation and enhancements of a number of equity trading systems including in-house as well as core Fidessa and interfaces to other applications

- Provide third line (project) equity user support to production system

- Formulate new initiatives in line with strategic objectives in partnership with the business

- Act as project manager in delivery of change required to deliver against business objectives

- Participate in the full project life cycle including initial analysis, requirements definition, interface design, data analysis and mapping, test planning, test pack production, test running and investigation and resolution of problems and acceptance testing

- Ensure scope of analysis addresses all aspects required to enable delivery of business benefits

- Verify the functional deliverables from development by involvement in user testing

- Manages the functional design with business expectations

- Ensure adherence to functional architecture strategy

- Build and maintain own expertise needed to provide analysis service to Equity Business

Requirements:

Languages:

- Fluent English

- Japanese Language Skills preferred

Knowledge Required:

- Detailed knowledge of Equity Trading systems, technology and related legal and compliance requirements

- Good knowledge of Asian Equities markets specifics and their impacts on Cash Equities offering

- Solid knowledge of project planning and development tools such as MS Project

- Familiarity with SQL databases, e.g. Sybase, SQL Server and use of SQL to assist investigation and testing

Skills & Experience Required:

- A minimum of 5 years experience in business analysis, design and testing experience on large scale system implementations

- Experience dealing with external clients and vendors for testing and manage relationships as required

- Full project life cycle experience proven in a trading or banking environment

- Experience on delivering Cash Equities trading solutions for Asian Equity markets

- Accuracy and attention to details

- Strong communication skills, written and verbal

- Experience in liaising across multiple business and technology groups

- Self-motivated

- Expertise in gathering, verifying and prioritising requirements

- Experience in leading stakeholder meetings

- Confident and able to work at all levels within the organisation

- Able to think laterally and take a pragmatic approach, when necessary, to issue resolution

- Strong interpersonal and team skills

- Familiarity with PC applications: Office, Access, Visio
