Youth Sports & Activities Manager

Our Club introduced many international sports to Japan and is proud to offer great facilities for children to participate in a wide range of sports with coaching in English. Our facilities include an all-weather pitch, seven tennis courts, two squash courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a large gymnasium, four alley bowling lanes and a swimming pool.

JOB TITLE: Youth Sports & Activities Manager

We seek an experienced Youth Sports & Activities Manager to provide the leadership for the Club to provide safe, quality, and most importantly rewarding recreational sports and activities for children of all ages. Management skills of planning, executing, evaluation, training and strong interpersonal skills are important aspects of the position, with preference given to someone with a background in running sports programs from planning to execution.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

The Youth Sports & Activities Manager will work in close coordination with our Sports Operations Manager, and will be required to perform the following primary job tasks:

- Lead our many existing children's sports programs and activities, including planning of program content and schedule
- Plan new children's sports programs and activities as appropriate
- Coordinate the scheduling of games between YC&AC sports teams and competitors
- Lead the planning and execution of the Club's monthly children's events (Valentines Day Celebration, Summer Pool Party, etc.)
- Establish an environment consistent with youth development
- Hire, train, supervise, and discharge children's program staff as needed
- Monitor budget in order to achieve departmental fiscal targets

Preference will be given to candidates that are able to help coach some of our youth sports programs.
